Show synopsis:

Summer 2018, it?s the soccer World Cup, Théo Askolovitch is 20 and learns he has cancer. With humor and generosity, this one-man show shows us that the most intimate battles are often the most universal.

66 jours is the story of a luminous and intimate journey, accompanied by a rap soundtrack and speeches by Didier Deschamps. The young man tells us about his diagnosis, the hospital, the 66 days of chemotherapy and, above all, his will to live. He draws his desire for life from the victories of the French soccer team and, above all, from his family. Through these ordeals, he traces his path, punctuated by doubts, demons and joys. Without ever lapsing into pathos, and thanks to a disarming sense of humor, the director and actor tackles the sometimes complex relationship with family and the universal anguish of death. The spectator swings between tears and laughter, between Theo Askolovitch?s story and the echoes of his own.
