Find water, or die.

Hostiles: snakes and vultures, bandits and morticians, sand as far as the eye can see. In a burning desert, a man wanders. Above all, he must find water: his survival depends on it.
The sun shows no mercy, beating down on this white-hot expanse. The inhabitants of this land, hardened by solitude and ignorant of everything but the law of the strongest, are more danger than help.
The theater stage is almost bare, brightly lit by spotlights. The actor, alone on stage, creates the characters and obstacles, and sets up the scenery and situations.
Olivier Rannou returns to the long-form for large stage with Hostile.

Further information: In the style of a spaghetti western, the world in which the character evolves is brutal, but the wry humor serves as a counterpoint. It's an homage, but also a play on the genre's clichés. The dramatic tension is built up in a subtle balance between the disturbing and the amusing.
