Join us on October 18 at 8.30pm at the Saint-Lô theater for the show "A.N.G.S.T" with Clément Dazin.

A performance based on thread and fear (Angst in German)
Walking above the void, making incredible jumps with the constant risk of falling, acrobats defy their own lives as soon as they perform. When the body faces danger, the mind takes refuge behind fear. Addressing this taboo between circus artists allows us to explore this fundamental emotion of our humanity, the one that can save us, or push us straight into the wall!
Confronting words and bodies in action, Lucas Bergandi and Clément Dazin play with the audience?s fears, with their own as tightrope walkers and jugglers. What they have in common is the notion of falling? the repeated fall of balls or objects for one, the fall of the body for the other. Obviously, these two gravity-defying practices do not place the notion of risk in the same place, and this is what is at stake in the encounter between the two artists.
If fear echoes within us the possibility of death, the circus artist?s dazzling joy on the wire seems to proclaim that it awakens an equal desire to live
