Le mystère du gant tells the story of Gérard Berni-Mollin's vendetta against his rival Raymond Duchaussoy, the day the latter kidnapped his mistress, Gérard's wife Inès Berni-Mollin, while Raymond's son Frédéric came to ask for the hand of Gérard's pregnant daughter Sophie. In the middle of this family affair: an amnesiac maid, Alexandrine, a double-edged wardrobe, Chantal and Bernard Couchard, a doctor dressed as a bird, the commissioner of Folie Titon and Claude, an immigrant employee who is shot at, loses an arm, is shot again and dies. Many spectators also perish during the show...
