Author Christophe Mory takes to the stage at the "Chez Colette" theater with his "contes énervés".
"I've always liked to read short stories in the evening before going to sleep, like a child who needs stories. So here are Tristan and Chloé, two young actors full of the kind of talent and illusions you find in Avignon. And here's time passing, aging, spring slipping away, the season of love? And yet, we're living under the glare of #Metoo: every compliment becomes harassment, and all-too-frequent messages become intrusive. The end of love? A veil over desire? There are women we love to desire, there are women we want to love. How can we respond to this call, locked in by social confinement?
Let's be clear: it's obvious that women are speaking out to demand the respect that is at the heart of every relationship. We all agree that this voice should be taken seriously to protect women from predation and incivility.
But does this mean we need to rekindle the ancient war of the sexes? It's going to make for more stories. For the evening?"

The theater opens 30 minutes before the performance.
Free seating.
