The ensemble Correspondance, directed by Sébastien Daucé, has received many awards for its work on baroque music. This Saturday, the ensemble will introduce or rediscover the repertoire of Marc-Antoine Charpentier. Forgotten and rediscovered in the 20th century, Charpentier is now considered one of the greatest masters of his time. He composed works for Molière, but it is mainly through his religious works that he has reached posterity. He composes in this field some of the
some of the most beautiful works of the French baroque music. We will have the privilege to rediscover his famous Te Deum and to explore, for one evening, the subtleties of this luminous music.
