Marche du temps profond autour du mont Canisy

Major events,

BENERVILLE-SUR-MER

4.6 km to tell the story of 4.6 billion years of Earth's history.

Why is the Earth's axis tilted? How did life develop on the continents? How many mass extinctions has life undergone, and why? Knowing where we come from is useful for knowing where we're going.
The Deep Time Walk reconnects us with our origins over a 4.6 km easy walk in the heart of nature. Discover the Earth's 4.6 billion-year history and relive, step by step, every significant event in the emergence and evolution of life on Earth.
On this walk around Mont Canisy, starting and returning from Plage des Ammonites in Bénerville-sur-Mer, participants will enjoy a fun, sensory, instructive and poetic experience, reconnecting with time, our ancestors and all living things on Earth.
The walk will be interspersed with time for in-depth, authentic discussions in pairs.
The Deep Time Walk is an educational experience created in 2007 by Stephan Harding and Sergio Maraschin at Schumacher College (UK).
