Jean-François Morro is a profoundly humanist painter.
Through his series "Au Coeur" (portraits of people he works with as a volunteer at the Restos du Coeur) and "Les Insouciants" (where the artist paints the attitudes of children from his town's Social Center), he seeks to show the beauty and depth that are usually invisible, to give an inside look at these expressions that could be ours or those of our loved ones; and thus break the distance that is unconsciously created.
Uprooted subjects sublimated by sharp, instinctive gestures, like apparitions emerging from the medium.
Pascal Delmas is a sculptor. His long artistic path began with drawing and watercolor (landscapes, nudes), then he discovered modeling. He trained at various fine arts academies and with several sculptors to master the diversity of materials. This rich experience has shaped his creative personality. Today, direct carving in noble materials such as marble and wood suits his temperament.
Reproducing what he sees is not his objective: he seeks harmony and balanced volumes, with a particular sensitivity to the expression of shapes. Through a selection of his works, Pascal invites us to discover the different axes of his work.
