Located in the Hôtel de Ville, the Musée municipal will also be opening its doors to the public on Saturday morning from 9am to 12pm. A morning of encounters with the museum?s fine art collections in the various rooms of the town hall. Founded in 1901, the museum's main collections are sculptures and paintings, most of which date from the 20th century. Works by well-known local artists such as Charles Léandre and Basile Lemeunier will also be on display. For the occasion, some of the museum?s works will be highlighted with presentation labels. Mr. Le Maire's office, home to a magnificent old library, the Comte de Contades Library, will also be open to visitors. Finally, a number of previously unpublished archival documents will be on public display.
