Four-hand piano recital by Chantal and Gisèle Andranian as part of the Journées du Patrimoine et du Matrimoine in Normandy, featuring works by female composers Clara Schumann, Fanny Hensel, Mel Bonis and Marie Jaell.
An evocation of a musical session in the Romantic era. When talented performers reveal themselves as remarkable creators whose work is often overshadowed by their close circle.

Introducing the Andranian Duo
Gisèle and Chantal Andranian are laureates of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, the Ecole Normale de Musique and the Cziffra Foundation. They have chosen to focus most of their activity on the piano duo (piano à quatre mains and two pianos), and have thus been able to explore, through numerous concerts, most of the repertoire written for this formation. They have performed in numerous Parisian venues: Salle Gaveau, Salle Cortot, Fondation Dosne-Thiers, Espace Cardin, Musée Carnavalet. Numerous performances in France and abroad.
