From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Médiathèque, discover an exhibition meticulously prepared by Aprepec members of unpublished documents and objects tracing the daily lives of the inhabitants of Morteaux-Couliboeuf, but also of neighboring villages, from 1939 to 1945.
At 3pm and again at 4pm, watch a screening of the documentary film "Vivre en temps de guerre - Les voix d'un village normand 1939-1944" (running time: 30 min). The film is based on the notebooks that Madame Yvonne de Blanchard kept almost daily from 1939 to 1945. Enriched with archival documents and the testimonies of local residents, collected and filmed between 2014 and 2023. It is punctuated by "historical moments" that place the history of the village and its surroundings in the context of History.
