The 7th edition of the World Peace Forum will address the theme "This world that is escaping us - How can we win peace in the face of new violence? "
The violence shaking up our world is upsetting our understanding of how it works. Wars drag on with no visible end in sight, the number of civilian victims continues to rise, and the international community remains divided. Add to this global warming and the rise of authoritarianism, and you have an uncertain future.
Even if this violence takes on forms already seen in history, it is of a new nature. They are symptoms of a world on the brink of a new era. Yet many voices are being raised. So how can we think together about a new world?
