Since the dawn of time, mankind has taken advantage of nature?s plant resources for food, warmth and shelter. Through instinct, observation and experimentation, we have discovered and exploited the various beneficial effects of wild plants on our health. This exhibition explores the close and constantly renewed relationship between man and plants: the use of plants through the ages, popular beliefs, the profession of herbalist, ancient and modern recipes for plant-based remedies? All these themes will be explored in settings evoking the world of herbalists, enriched with antique objects and tools, as well as fun, interactive modules to discover all the secrets of wild herbs.
