The role of the Pays d'Auge Ornais resistance in the fight against the occupying forces and in the Battle of Normandy

To pay tribute to the men and women involved in the Resistance in the CDC des Vallées d'Auge et du Merlerault area, and to pass on the duty of remembrance to younger generations, the Société Historique de Vimoutiers en Pays d'Auge is presenting a travelling exhibition in a number of towns and villages in the CDC.
The exhibition will feature previously unpublished documents, photos and testimonials from members of the Resistance and their actions.
