During the conflicts of the twentieth century, in which the French Army was involved, there were many sportsmen and women, some of them true champions. Through their courage and commitment, they were often at the heart of the battles. This exhibition honors men and women who were both brilliant athletes and soldiers cited for their bravery. All are holders of the Croix de Guerre or the Valeur Militaire.
