Situated in the Regional Parc of the Marshland, the mount Castre has a strong history and a marvelous scenery. This ancient stony carrier has remnants from neolithic, gallo-roman et medieval periods. Discover it by walking on the path with interpretive signs.
With 130m hight, the mount Castre offers a stunning view above the Cotentin. A orientation table is installed at the top.
This strategic situation made the mount almost imprenable by the Americans during the Hedgrows battle in 1944. A digital application, KIT M, is avalaible to discover this period. More information : +33 2 33 45 14 35.
