Eglise Saint Martin

Cultural Heritage,

CRASVILLE-LA-ROCQUEFORT

The building is constructed of sandstone and flint, and dates largely from the Louis XIV period. The church boasts a remarkable timber-framed porch on low sandstone walls. During the reign of Louis XVI, the north façade was rebuilt and the choir redecorated: the main altar is in painted and gilded wood. On either side of the altar are two decorative panels representing the civil and religious powers.
