This church is dependent upon Lonlay Abbey (in Orne). The herring-bone pattern on the nave walls, together with the walled door on the outside of the south elevation, allow us to date the building to the early 11th century. It was modified in the 13th century with the addition of a flat chevet, then with Flamboyant Gothic windows in the 15th century. This Romanesque church was enhanced with a belfry and a sacristy, adjacent to the chevet, in the early 20th century.
