In the heart of the Eure Department, visit this folk art museum dedicated to life and crafts of the past.
Close to the town centre, the "Musée Vie et Métiers d'Autrefois" (Museum of former crafts and way of life) houses a collection comprising more than 7,000 old tools and objects, sometimes original, dedicated to folk art. Visitors will discover more than 35 crafts of the past and learn more about our ancestors’ lives in the 19th and 20th centuries: wheelwright, artificial flower maker, washerwomen, etc. and many others that will surprise you during the guided tour. Temporary exhibitions and activities are organised. The site is accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs, and even provides children with a special guidebook for the visit.
