SNEKKAR – THE SINNERS – Le Batolune

Snekkar : "Since 2017, Snekkar has been offering compositions inspired by the nu metal wave of the late 90s, featuring clean vocal lines, carried by the band's frontwoman. The 5 musicians from Le Havre will be defending their self-titled EP and new single ?All My Love? with an electric set combining sharp riffs and melodic solos. Snekkar also perform covers of their own compositions acoustically, enabling them to appeal to a wider audience

The Sinners: Le Havre, its greyness, the rain... Seattle, its greyness, the rain? Another thing these two port cities have in common is rock?n?roll. That's all it took for the Le Havre Sinners to fall for the Seattle sound and scene. The raw sound of the US North and the ferocious snarl of the Normandy city are brought together, digested and thrown in the face of the audience. You don't grow up with the riffs of Nirvana, Alice in Chains or Soundgarden without after-effects. The Sinners don't deny their influences, but they do assert their color. Their color. The identity is strong, and the trio of Fabien (guitar/vocals), Quentin (bass) and Ulrich (drums) rock hard and fast. There's no lacework involved, even if the word "subtlety" has a lot of resonance here.
