For the past five years, Planète Initial has set up shop in Deauville to mark the start of the festival. For three days, the Laboratory opens its doors to the public in collaboration with fine art printers, offering an immersion in printing techniques and Hahnemühle papers. The space is also a meeting place for the photography press, as well as a creative writing workshop based on the photographic series presented during the festival.
