Arthur Harari brings to life the incredible story of Onoda. This Japanese lieutenant on a mission with a handful of men on an island in the Philippines, unaware that the Second World War had ended, resisted the Americans until 1974.
The film will be preceded at 6:30pm by a tour of the Encyclopédie des guerres by exhibition curator Jean-Yves Jouannais, and followed by an exceptional meeting with the filmmaker!
Free admission, but remember to book in advance! [email protected]
A bar and light refreshments are available before and after the meetings.
Sofia and Eureka Street bookshop are partners of the literary encounters.
Don't forget them! Twisto is a partner of the Imec's cultural program: buses 20 and 21 serve the Ardenne stop, and a free shuttle bus runs to downtown Caen at 10 pm on meeting nights.
