To mark Pink October, the month of mobilization for breast cancer screening initiated by the Ligue contre le cancer, the town of Ouistreham Riva-Bella, in partnership with the towns of Colleville-Montgomery, Saint-Aubin d?Arquenay and Hermanville-sur-Mer, is organizing a walk-run on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
Three routes are proposed (6 km walk, 10 km walk, 6 km run), sponsored by Thalazur Ouistreham, with the support of Ouistreham associations (Entraide et Solidarité, Vagues de Nacre, Secours Libre, Amitié Active, Riva Courir), and local partners (Casino Barrière Ouistreham, Carrefour Market Ouistreham, Fitclub de Ouistreham). The total amount of donations collected during all the actions carried out during the month of October and during this race will be donated to the Comité départemental de la Ligue contre le cancer.
On the day of the run-walk, a 30-minute warm-up is scheduled for 9 a.m., with departure at 9.30 a.m., at the Salle G. Legoupil, avenue Général Leclerc. Legoupil, avenue du Général Leclerc, Ouistreham Riva-Bella.
