The Manoir de Canapville, known as the "Manoir des Évêques de Lisieux", is one of the best-preserved and most picturesque manor houses in the Pays d'Auge.
On either side of the 13th-century stone tower, two timber-framed manor houses were built in the early 15th century, as they appear today, surrounded by a wonderful garden. The cider press, with its crushing tower and long-clutching press, is a must-see.
Inside, eighteenth-century furniture makes for a charmingly original décor.
