Following the success of their Advent 2023 concert, the musicians of Le Cénacle return to celebrate the Christmas season with traditional carols from the Baroque period.
Gathered around Michel Laplénie, a member of the first team of Les Arts Florissants, the baroque music ensemble directed by William Christie, Le Cénacle is made up of singers and instrumentalists, most of whom live in Normandy. They are dedicated to reviving the Baroque repertoire, with its contrasting affects, so close to human nature. Le Cénacle once again celebrates the Advent and Christmas seasons with music combining hymns, canticles and traditional carols. No doubt they will
resound in our ears, reviving our childhood memories of these magical and mysterious holidays.
