Join us on October 15 at 7.30pm at the Saint-Lô theater for the show "Dinosaure" with the D-Dal company.

As a child, long before he discovered dance, Santiago Codon Gras dreamed of becoming a paleontologist. For love of the film Jurassic Park, fascinated by these animals that raise so many questions. How did these creatures become gigantic and powerful? Could they have foreseen their extinction and prevented it?

His show, in the form of a "danced conference", explores this enigma, between scientific popularization, existential anguish, fantasies of omnipotence, and the jubilation of the performers in playing giant reptiles to perfection!
The choreographer sketches a link between the disappearance of the dinosaurs and the mad trajectory of our civilizations. An animal ballet against a backdrop of reminiscences of The Rite of Spring. Dinosaure is a questioning of ourselves, of power, civilization and hubris, of the need to evolve and conquer new realms.
A tiny fraction of the dinosaurs still live among us. Modestly, birds have conquered the skies, inviting us to look up at a possible tomorrow.
