The play approaches this famous court case from the jurors? point of view alone.
There are no courtroom scenes or trial re-enactments here, just a series of beautifully human portraits, each living a deeply moving experience. Through fiction, the words and thoughts of the individuals on this popular jury are expressed in a boldly written style. While, off-screen, the media hype weighs heavily, each takes a journey that sends the audience back to its own free will.
It's not easy being a juror! This civic experience leaves its mark. Who am I to convict or acquit? How can everyday worries coexist with such a tragedy?
