Nocturne as part of the European Heritage Days.
By day, the Carteret lighthouse keeps a low profile, allowing visitors to admire the surrounding panorama, but at night, it's the lighthouse itself that gives the place its character and attracts our attention. On a clear day, the lighthouse's light is just like that of other lighthouses on both sides of the sea, on the French coast and the Channel Islands. What do they tell each other? No one knows, unless the lighthouse keepers have managed to unravel the mystery?
