Temporary exhibition in the main hall of the manor house
In Omonville-la-Rogue, a small port in the Cotentin region, Jacques and Baptiste represent
two generations of fishermen preserving the tradition of traditional fishing
respectful of the resource.
This exhibition retraces their careers, their daily work and their relationship with the elements
to the elements. They talk about their doubts and motivations, and take a critical look at
of the modern world, while at the same time contemplating the beauty of nature.
Adapted from Nicolas Gayraud's film Inertie, the exhibition extends the director's
the director's research work, as well as offering a fresh look at the seafaring profession
and the transformation of the Cotentin coastline.
