This 18th century park is a listed historic monument and bears the 'Jardin Remarquable' label thanks to the exceptional estate featuring tidy flower beds, wild groves and period facilities (Chinese kiosk, Greco-Roman temple), all in a setting surrounded by running water, waterfalls and canals. The visit ends at 'les Chartreuses', a dazzling set of thirteen walled gardens, all entirely planted with perennials. The site is a genuine open-air greenhouse, unique in France. Tours of the castle interior can be arranged on appointment. The site also features an organic, educational farm as well as a cider cellar that sell products from the estate. On appointment, lunches or afternoon teas can be held in the reception hall, starting at 34.40€/pers. (tour + lunch). Decorations and souvenirs can be purchased at the boutique.
