Exhibition at La MarbRErie – Dogs!

As the light begins to fade, at twilight, La MarbRErie is opening its very first themed group exhibition on Saturday 17 October at 6 pm, entirely dedicated to our four-legged friends.

For the occasion, the art gallery on Rue Général de Gaulle is bringing together artists who have all previously held solo exhibitions there: Laurent Capitaine, Eleonore Klarwein, Poline Pims, Soisem, Lucy Harrison, Maitena Barret, Troy Henriksen and Bill Leyshon. Each artist offers their own vision of the dog, sometimes sketched, sometimes idealised, and sometimes viewed with a touch of irony.

Whether endearing, independent or boisterous, the dogs are portrayed here through artistic worlds as varied as the breeds themselves. A humorous tribute to those who share our daily lives, on display until 1 November.

An exhibition to share with all animal lovers, even in doggy weather.
