Join us for a unique experience as you explore the Roches Noires cliffs by kayak!
Set off to explore these majestic cliffs, which stretch for nearly four kilometres between Trouville-sur-Mer and Villerville.
Our experienced guides will take you on a journey through the history of these cliffs, explaining how they were formed and how they have been shaped over the centuries by the wind and the sea. You’ll also be able to admire the villas built by prominent figures of the 20th century, drawn by the breathtaking sea views.
But that’s not all! This site is also of international importance for biodiversity, with numerous species of birds coming to feed on shellfish during the winter. At low tide, you’ll be able to hear their songs, even if you can’t spot them.
Experience a moment out of time, amidst unique landscapes, and discover these magnificent cliffs from a new perspective. Let yourself be swept away by the zany stories of our guides, Victorien and Yoann, who will brighten up your day and surprise you at every turn.
• Suitable for: anyone who can swim (swimming certificate or a sworn statement)
• Craft: 1-seater or 2–3-seater kayaks, suitable for all skill levels
• Equipment provided: safety gear and a neoprene wetsuit if required. Our wetsuits allow you to enjoy water sports even in the middle of winter.
• What to bring: swimming costume, towel, a change of clothes, sunglasses, a cap and sun cream
• Duration: 2 hours to 2 hours 30 minutes
• Prices: €32 per adult; €24 per child aged 9 to 16; free for children under 9 accompanied by an adult
• ‘Famille Plus’ discount: 10 per cent off for two adults and one child aged 9 or over
The water sports instructor is a state-qualified professional.
Cancelled in the event of a thunderstorm. The activity may still go ahead in the event of rain, provided suitable equipment is worn, as well as in windy conditions or when the sea is slightly choppy.
Weather updates are provided regularly. We undertake to try to notify you 48 hours before the activity if it has to be cancelled due to unsuitable weather conditions. In this case, no cancellation fee will be charged.
