Normandy traditionally hosts the Jazz sous les Pommiers festival in May. Come and join this great festival in the south of the Manche. Around fifty concerts await you in various venues and concert halls in the lovely town of Coutances. Get ready for a whole host of events celebrating jazz and other musical styles!
The programme
Several concert venues (the theatre, the cathedral, the cinema, a school playground and even the beach) will host concerts and shows for this major event from 8 to 16 May 2026. From jazz to soul, electro to world music, there’s something for everyone!
The following artists will perform at the festival in May:
Keziah Jones, Fatoumata Diawara, Joshua Redman quartet…
The organisers dedicate part of the programme to the local music scene. Over thirty groups, big bands, choirs and music schools take part in the festival.
In order to share their passion with as many people as possible, the organisers have come up with the idea of offering free events at each edition. Street shows, entertainment, exhibitions… there’s something for everyone!
