Jullouville-les-Pins

From 18 to 26 July 2026, the Grandes Marées Festival returns to the waterfront for a series of exceptional concerts. So pack your bags, swimsuits and sunscreen and head for Jullouville on the west coast of La Manche for a full week of frenzy!

The programme

The Grandes Marées Festival promises an eclectic mix of events and genres. First names for 2026 include Patrick Bruel, Christophe Maé, Deluxe and Zaz. With an audience of around 3,000 people each evening, the festival invites national and international bands and singers to perform. Doors open at 5pm. A series of 4 or 5 concerts follows. At sunset the atmosphere is incredible.

A festival by the water

By the sea, the festival takes advantage of the idyllic setting offered by the charm of the seaside resort of Jullouville. Affectionately known as ‘Jullou’, the town with its long sandy beach is ideally situated between the corsair town of Granville and the cliffs of Champeaux, a stone’s throw from the one and only Mont-Saint-Michel.

An eco-friendly event

Organised by the Baie en Seine association, this festival mobilises nearly 250 volunteers to offer a unique musical experience.

Grandes Marées Festival volunteers

The organisation promotes the local music scene with promising young artists.

The festival team is committed to zero waste and is working to reduce the amount of plastic on site by favouring recycled and recyclable packaging, promoting local products, encouraging short circuits and hiring or recycling equipment.

Local produce will be given pride of place on site, with a wide range of food stalls. The festival has its own organic, pale, home-brewed beer: Coef 101, produced by the Brasserie de l’Enclos and Thomas Delenclos in Avranches.

Associations and volunteers will be on hand to raise awareness of various causes, including coastal protection and the work of the SNSM (French National Lifeboat Service) based at the Jullouville lifeboat station. Bicycle stands will be available for festival-goers. If you cycle along the coast from the centre of Granville, you should allow 30 minutes for the 8 km.
