Top golf events in Normandy

With plenty of world-class courses and resorts to choose from, Normandy has built its reputation as an exceptional golf destination in France. Every year, the region hosts many golf events and tournaments, both for professional and amateur players. Here’s a selection of golf events for your bucket list.

The Vaudreuil Golf Challenge

Part of the Challenge Tour tournament, the Vaudreuil Golf Challenge is held end June or early July on the prestigious Vaudreuil golf course. Known to be challenging, this competition attracts more than 120 professional players facing a huge test of their talents, making it an exciting show for spectators. 

The Grand Prix de la Côte d’Albâtre

Every summer, the Grand Prix de la Côte d’Albâtre consists 400 players of all ages and all levels competing across multiple stunning golf courses along Normandy’s Alabaster Coast, including Rouen Mont-Saint-Aignan, Etretat, Le Havre Octeville-sur-Mer and Dieppe-Pourville. 

Granville golf competitions

The Granville golf course is located in a natural setting at the entrance to the bay of the Mont-Saint-Michel, where you can take part in a number of competitions. There are many events throughout the year.

The Lacoste Ladies Open in Deauville

The Lacoste Ladies Open de France has moved to the Barrière Golf Club in Deauville for another three years, with a new event scheduled for September 2025. The event, which marks the 35th edition of the National Open, will take place on the Diane Barrière course, with the world’s best players in attendance.

The Manche Fairways

The fourth edition of the “Fairways de la Manche” will take place from 24 to 26 April 2025 on some of the most beautiful golf courses in the Manche, from the Cotentin Peninsula to the Bay of the Mont-Saint-Michel. Players, in teams of two, are invited to compete on 3 courses (two qualifying rounds + a small or big final on Sunday in Granville).
