Looking for some performing arts during your stay in Normandy? Here’s an overview of all the festivals taking place across Normandy over the summer where you can enjoy all kinds of street performers, jugglers, comedians and dancers!
Les Plateaux éphémères celebrates its 10th birthday this year with an exciting programme of eight shows, showacasing music, theatre, dance, and thrilling circus acts such as jugglers, clowns and acrobats!

Also celebrating its 10th birthday is Fête du Cirque, a circus festival combines circus and street arts performed by 16 theatre troupes amid the beautiful setting of the Château de Gromesnil.
More than 90,000 spectators are expected to attend international festival Viva Cité, which will star no less than 75 dance troupes.

Celebrate performing arts at its best at Le Mascarets, which takes place in the pretty town of Pont-Audemer, not far from the Marais Vernier and Honfleur.
This popular festival has been running for 30 years and is a must for performing arts lovers, with a mix of music and street arts.
On every street corner and along the beach, you’ll find 150 performances taking place over the course of the Sorties de Bains festival.

This fesrtival brings together a collection of dance, circus acts, puppet shows, clowns and magicians, and expects to welcome around 40,000 visitors. Don’t miss the final show, the Eclat final!
Pretty Bernay, officially recognised as a ‘town of art and history’, is the setting for this festival, which combines humour, derision, poetry and mystery.
The spa town of Bagnoles-de-l’Orne comes alive every Friday night throughout the summer with its very own street arts festival, Les vendredis de l’été.

The Manoir du Tourp farm is the setting for this colourful performing arts festival, which sees clowns, musicians, actors and circus performers gather for a fun weekend of performing arts!
The Faltaisises festival sees street performances and shows take place all over the town of Falaise, birthplace of William the Conqueror.
