Science workshop at the Dôme
Acting as a bridge between the world of research and young people in Normandy, Le Do^me welcomes school classes for two-hour workshops of their choice or for a one-hour tour.
Le Dôme offers workshops lasting around two hours, during which participants can explore a scientific topic, make something or take part in a hands-on science experiment.
Each workshop is an opportunity to take part in a creative project or to contribute to participatory research programmes led by scientists.
You can visit Le Dôme or host one or more workshops at your school.
The workshops are both fun and educational: an opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills whilst contributing to the discussion on how our societies are evolving.
Depending on your class’s level and the theme you wish to explore, we will help you choose a workshop from our catalogue:
– making: vinyl cutter, 3D printing, woodworking
– critical thinking: training artificial intelligence, fake news
– participatory science: wild plants, biodiversity surveys, plastic pollution, the Blob
