[School groups] Caen Castle – outdoor tour and workshop
An artistic and historical sketching tour of the grounds of Caen Castle and its new landscaping, organised in collaboration with the Museum of Fine Arts. How do the architecture and decorative features of the medieval fortress interact with the contemporary sculptures? From medieval corbels to more recent works, the tour enables pupils to create their own sketchbooks by experimenting with pencil, red chalk, white chalk and watercolour.
