With 12 hectares (29 acres) and 3 kilometres (1.2 miles) of river, the Chaise Dieu Watermill site offers a wide range of landscapes and fishing options: Lake Emilie and 5 smaller lakes connected to one another. They are constantly supplied by the pristine water of the Iton river. The site is open year round. Fly fishing using boobies or dry flies appears successful in all seasons. Those who like to fish with nymphs will be filled with absolute delight. Fishing with streamers is a safe bet to catch the “fish of your life” in lake Emilie.
The most interesting technique is fly fishing with worms or dry flies especially when there is a light breeze that creates ripples on the surface of the water.
