The Nature Walk – Discovering the Coast is an invitation to explore the landscapes and natural environment of the Normandy coast in complete simplicity. Participants take the time to observe, listen to and feel the richness of the area on a leisurely walk that's accessible to all.
The routes take in a variety of natural environments: beaches, dunes, cliffs, country lanes, small villages and forest edges. Each outing is an opportunity to discover the diversity of the landscape, the local flora and fauna, and the special features of the Normandy coastline.
Around the emblematic site of Omaha Beach, these walks offer an exceptional setting between sea, sand and wide horizons. The sea air, the changing light of the coast and the vast natural spaces create an atmosphere conducive to relaxation and wonder.
These outings are also an opportunity to take a different look at the environment: to understand the dunes, observe the coastal birds, discover the history of the area and the relationship between man and the sea.
