Citizen science workshop at the TURFU festival
Every April, the TURFU Festival invites your pupils to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of co-creation in partnership with researchers, professionals, artists and the general public.
Over the course of half a day or a full day, pupils take part in a workshop and join a group, actively contributing ideas to devise solutions to the questions posed, whilst respecting the framework and the views of the other participants.
The workshops draw on the pupils’ own experiences and encourage them to reflect on their role as citizens.
The themes provide an introduction to topics in science communication relating to everyday life, the environment, food, gender, health, agriculture, social media and more.
At the end of each workshop, you and your pupils can recognise your discoveries, what you’ve learnt or your participation by applying for a digital Open Badge.
Visit the TURFU Festival website to view past workshops or to register your groups (from October): https://turfu-festival.fr/
Duration: 3 hours
