Tour of the exterior of the Vaumicel manor house

The Thursday 01 April at 14 a.m30

Manoir du Vaumicel rue du Vaumicel 14710 VIERVILLE-SUR-MER

Listed as a historic monument since 1927, the Vaumicel manor house is an elegant 16th-century Renaissance residence. Owned by the Canivet family for two hundred years, it has retained its medieval character, with its main residence and four corner towers, where the defensive spirit remains very much in evidence. The de Bellaigue family have owned it for over a century.

Antoine de Bellaigue, the owner, will give you a guided tour of the manor’s grounds, gardens and farmyard. The interior of the manor is not open to the public, as it is private. He will highlight the family and heritage aspects, as well as the historical and architectural features.

This tour is free of charge, subject to booking, and takes place on Wednesdays only.
