Theatre: Victor Hugoat, No. 1 in French rap

In this explosive one-man show, he blends comedy monologue, rap and a cast of characters to recount the life of the ‘Man of the Century’, verse after chorus, right up to the final autobiographical rap. Together with the audience, we re-enact the Battle of Hernani, we mourn the death of Léopoldine, and we are gripped by the grand political speeches, with a few guest stars lending their support: Jul, Nekfeu, PNL, Gazo, Soprano… A show designed to reconcile teenagers and adults with literature and the performing arts.
“If Victor Hugo had lived today, he would have been the greatest rapper of all!”
