Theatre: The Flea, the Camel and the Others

Theatre for young audiences (ages 3 and up) by Cie Comme sur des roulettes & Cie Léa

A production that celebrates the potential for joy, freedom and inventiveness found in childhood.

Drawing on selected poems from the book *Les Animaux et leurs poètes* (Albin Michel Jeunesse), Annette Banneville and Lolita Espin Anadon create a language of music and images, conveyed through voice and movement, which echoes very young children’s fascination with the animal world. From Paul Claudel to Andrée Chedid, from Jules Renard to Robert Desnos, these poems – delicate miniatures or little stories – bring to life a bestiary ranging from the flea to the elephant.
