Theatre: Maïa’s Diary – Cie La Traversée / La Magnanerie

Theatre – Ages 10 and over
A play about teenage anxiety, handled with tact and without being heavy-handed, which creates a space for shared discussion after the performance. Deeply insightful and moving.

Two thirteen-year-old friends, Maïa and Alicia, navigate the turbulence of adolescence with humour and light-heartedness: academic pressure, the judgement of others, hypersensitivity… Until Maïa begins to experience her first anxiety attacks. She then starts writing a diary, addressed to the adult she will one day become.
