Switch-on of the Christmas lights

Every year in Trouville-sur-Mer, the switching on of the Christmas lights marks the start of the festive season. On Friday 4 December at 5.30 pm, the public is invited to Square de la Rosace, in front of the fishmonger’s, for the traditional switching-on ceremony.

Organised by Trouville-sur-Mer Town Council, the Tourist Office and the Cap Trouville traders’ association, this convivial event coincides with the official switching on of the Christmas lights throughout the town. A concert will provide the musical backdrop to the evening, whilst hot chocolate, mulled cider and biscuits will be on offer to warm you up.

A brilliant first event to see the town decked out in its festive colours and to share in the beginning of the magic of Christmas together.
