Set sail on a skippered yacht with the Deauville Yacht Club and head out to sea from Deauville for a two-hour cruise exploring the coastline. Whatever your age or experience, led by Malko, Gaëtan or Gilles (qualified instructors), you’ll tack along the beaches of the Côte Fleurie and the cliffs of the Roches Noires, and you might even venture into the Touques to take in the views of Deauville and Trouville. Your skipper will reveal the secrets of sailing whilst keeping an eye out for the seabirds and wildlife you might hope to spot during this sailing trip.
The J80s, 8-metre-long sailing boats, can accommodate 2 to 5 people. Come aboard and take the helm! Please bring the following, depending on the weather: sun cream, sunglasses, a waterproof windbreaker, a jumper or fleece, a hat or cap, trainers (avoid open-toed shoes), and a change of clothes. You’re welcome to bring water and dried fruit, for example. Personal belongings can be stored in the boat’s cabin. Life jackets are provided, as well as waterproof trousers if necessary.
A 2-hour sailing trip, suitable for anyone who can swim. Restrictions: in the event of adverse weather conditions, the DYC reserves the right to cancel the trip without any penalty or compensation being payable.
