Lumière sur Saint-Aubin
The Saturday 07 November at 19 a.m30
Rue Saint-Aubin 27150 DOUDEAUVILLE-EN-VEXIN
Once night has fallen, step inside Saint-Aubin Church, accompanied by your guide, Mister Mystère, who will reveal the secrets and treasures of this remarkable monument in the Vexin Normand, by the glow of a soft light—a flashlight!
In the dim light, set out to discover its recently restored carved decorations, where plant scrolls, grotesques, and religious scenes blend vibrant colors with sometimes surprising depictions. You’ll also admire its remarkable paneled vault and its 16th-century exterior architecture, typical of the Vexin Normand region.
And when the beams of light bring the sculptures out of the darkness, the church may reveal some of its mysteries to you.
This event is open to children ages 7 and up.
Please bring a headlamp or flashlight and dress appropriately for the weather.
No tickets may be exchanged or refunded, except in cases of force majeure that would result in a cancellation by the tourist office.
