Take: 10 bottles of whisky, 2 six-packs of Murphy’s and a crate of Guinness, mix it all together with a vast collection of records inspired by Irish and Celtic songs from around the world, and throw in some traditional instruments such as the tin whistle, the bagpipes, the banjo, the mandolin, the mandola, the accordion, plus nine slightly mad lads who usually all end up on stage at the same time, and let it all simmer on any stage for 120 minutes to create an Irish-Celtic-punk-rock feast that’ll please everyone! The result is a party steeped in sweat and hops that’s second to none, with a crowd both in front of and on stage giving it their all on every dance floor! Quiet sea shanties are a thing of the past!
