Concert: Les Innocents

In the 1980s and 1990s, at a time when French pop shone only in fleeting moments, Les Innocents stood as a steadfast beacon, ablaze from within with a melodic fire and flashes of poetic brilliance that only they knew how to stoke.
A certain vision of excellence and elegance, asserted and refined over time by a collective which, as is rarely the case in France, managed to strike a harmonious chord between artistic rigour and popular success.
This wonderful story came to an end in 2000, but such stories, in truth, never really end. And so, in 2013, Jipé Nataf and Jean-Chri Urbain, the band’s two great trailblazers, decided to rekindle their partnership through the interplay of their voices and guitars, releasing in 2015 – as a duo – the album *Mandarine*, which won a Victoire de Musique award in the ‘rock’ category, followed by the project *6 ½* in 2019, which was in turn acclaimed by critics.
